About Danielle

Who?

Dr. Danielle Corapi is a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in women’s health, pelvic floor dysfunction, and pregnancy and postpartum care. She earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from the University of Scranton and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Upstate Medical University.

After graduating, Dr. Danielle practiced physical therapy across the United States in a variety of clinical settings, primarily in outpatient orthopedics. Throughout her career, she felt a strong connection to working with women and addressing the physical challenges associated with pregnancy and postpartum recovery. Over time, it became clear that her true calling was in women’s health.

Dr. Danielle returned to her hometown of Syracuse, NY, where she pursued advanced training in pelvic floor dysfunction through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She is passionate about supporting women through the prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum stages, providing thoughtful, individualized care during each phase of motherhood.

As a mother of three—daughters Rylee and Reese, and son Rowan—Dr. Danielle understands firsthand the physical and emotional demands of pregnancy and postpartum recovery. Her personal experience deepens her appreciation for the complexities of the female body and reinforces her commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. She has advanced training through BirthFit and is certified as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, allowing her to provide specialized care throughout pregnancy and postpartum.

Outside of the clinic, Danielle enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, children, and goldendoodle, Graham. She values overall wellness and enjoys working out at home and spending time outdoors hiking.

What?

I provide individualized, one-on-one physical therapy focused on pelvic floor health, including support for pelvic pain, incontinence, and pregnancy and postpartum care. Each session begins with a thorough evaluation to better understand your body and your goals. Treatment is personalized and may include a combination of hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, biofeedback, and education—so you feel informed, supported, and confident every step of the way.

Why?

I want to EMPOWER all of my patients to be able to return to their functional activities without pain and/or dysfunction.
